France Bleu is Normandy's most popular radio station with 452 200 listeners*,  brings fans the highest quality news and to make sure you know everything worth knowing when it comes to equestrian events in Normandy.The radio broacaster will be onsite at the Games Village from 23 August to 7 September for live broadcasts on France Bleu Basse-Normandie, France Bleu Cotentin and France Bleu Haute-Normandie, from Monday to Friday 6–7pm and weekends 4–7pm for live interviews with guests, behind-the-scenes reports and audio postcards, Games schedules, practical information and much more. A "live" with also take place on Friday 29 August on the entire France Bleu* network.

Tournaments and sport achievements are widely covered by France Info. The news channel gives priority to its expert's broadcasts, commentaries and analyses every thirty minutes in its general news as well as in its « France Info Sport » edition. In order to provide an ever more accurate information, France Info Sport's team travels to major events and works hand in hand with experts for those competitions.

Cheval Mag

Cheval Magazine is the first Media Ambassador of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. Created in 1971, the magazine is the French equestrian press’ leader with an average monthly circulation of over 80,000 copies. Since Stockholm in 1990, Cheval Magazine has covered the first six editions of the World Equestrian Games. For this 1st edition in France, the magazine will once again use its expertise to relay any specific news concerning the Games on its monthly printed issue, its website and social networks, in order to allow readers to fully experience the largest equestrian event in the World.

L’Eperon

L’Eperon, Sports Equestres and Cavadeos probably make up the only group of specialized press (SNC SPUR) in Europe combining a complementary "print", "web" and "video" offer.  By vocation, and with a great ambition for equestrian sports, L’Eperon naturally became an event’s partner as a MediaAmbassador of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy. 24 employees from L’Eperon, as well as 50 collaborators, go around the equestrian world, and have at heart to share the growth of the project, before plunging readers and Internet users behind the scenes of that fantastic event from 23 August to 7 September 2014.

Cob Normand

The National Union of Breeders and users of Norman Cob horses is the National Association approved by the Ministry of Agriculture to manage the Norman Cob Studbook. Born from the desire of enthusiastic breeders, the union is responsible for: the selection of breeding, promotion and enhancement of the Norman Cob breed.

The registered office is at Equine Centre of Saint Lô, historic cradle of the breed.

 

 

Le Barbe Marocain

Akhal Téké

This light horse, fast and enduring was trained for war and plunder by the nomads of Central Asia steppes for thousands of years. Celebrated since ancient times for its beauty and its qualities, it has spread throughout the East, India, China and southern Russia.

He contributed to the birth of many breeds, including Arabians and English, Trakehner horse of Don. Its modern name Akhal-Teke sign the claim of the present-day Turkmenistan as the cradle of the race.

In his home country, the Akhal-Teke is primarily a racehorse, but it is used in all forms of recreational riding and sports.

Endangered a few decades ago, the race has only about 6,000 horses, including 350 in France. The National Association of Akhal-Teke breed France manages with the IFCE / Haras Nationaux two registers, thoroughbred and breeding, which are annexes to the General Studbook held in Russia.

Quarter Horse

The American Quarter Horse is the world’s most versatile breed and also the preferred breed of reining. Whether sliding, spinning or circling, the American Quarter Horse outperforms other breeds. Known for their hard-working nature and determination, American Quarter Horses are the preferred mount on ranches, as well. These traits are what make the American Quarter Horse so popular and in demand across the globe and found in nearly every country on the planet!

No other association does more to support the sport of reining than the American Quarter Horse Association. Located in Amarillo, Texas, AQHA is the world’s largest equine breed registry and membership organization. AQHA members share a passion for the American Quarter Horse and the vast lifestyle created by the world’s most popular horse.
